On discovering that my pride and joy had been covered with cement and a number of serious scratches from a very ‘kind’ construction company, I was ready to cry and couldn’t bear to look at my car anymore. I set out to look for a body shop that would go the extra mile and I had a recommendation to go and visit Chris at Auto Body Spray. 

On entering to his premises I was greeted by High-end Jaguars and a couple of Porsche 911’s, I knew this guy was serious. He assured me that he could have the car looking better than what it did when she rolled out of the factory!!!

The keys were handed over and during the seven days he had it I regularly visited to see my car have every body part removed and stripped!

It was heart wrenching!!! 

The day arrived that I finally got my baby back... Two months later, I’m still smiling and love the way people look at the car as I drive past! People ask me how I achieved the look of my Beetle and where I got my ideas from, simple, it was purely down to Chris and his team! The rear badge was shipped in from the US, the roof was painted the deepest gloss black to match the sunroof glass and the front was shaved of its badge – maybe not to everyone’s liking but Chris knew what I wanted before I opened my mouth!
